Anxiety Free Without Drugs
The author grew up in a rough neighborhood where bullying was routine. At age 7 he was tortured by a psychopathic school principal who tried to extract a confession for something he had not done. Things were not so peaceful at the home front, either.By the time he was in university he was a neurotic with an ulcer, intimidated by the simplest challenging situations. As an adult he had gone through the trials and tribulations of many young people today whose only escape route from depression and other emotional problems is turning to drugs. Until he decided to explore and discover how the mind works. It has taken him decades of studying and introspection to attain peace of mind, contentment, and confidence in himself, life and the future. He said “If I only knew what I know now, at that time, I wouldn’t have gone through all that pain.” As human beings we all deserve to be free from anxiety, fear, and pain, and as happy as we can be.
Anxiety and Depression
Anxiety is a creeping fear or fears that something bad and unwanted is about to happen, or it could happen. Its cause is often unknown, since it bleeds through from our subconscious mind. Our subconscious mind is a repository of everything that has ever happened to us and everything we learned even from the time we were in our mothers’ wombs. Depression results when we feel helpless to do anything about it. Many people, of course, are anxious and depressed about making enough money to survive. There’s nothing secretive about worrying over financial problems since in this day and age our survival is very closely linked to “money.” However, and ironically, the more we are anxious and fearful the less personal resources we have since fear and anxiety rob us of the ability to rise to the challenge.
