Meditation & Brain Waves
One of the most significant scientific discoveries of the 20th century was the discovery of brain waves. According to this discovery our brains vibrated at different frequencies depending on the activity. Our waking consciousness is the Beta frequency when we are fully alert with our five senses at the forefront of activity. This is also said to be the least efficient vibration for relaxation and manifestation. Deeper down to a slower vibration is Alpha. Alpha fueled the theories on meditation, including manifestation with the least effort. Most meditative disciplines aimed at producing Alpha where we can consciously create our desires. Deeper down are the vibrations of delta, said to be the healing vibration, and theta, probably related to hypnosis and deep sleep.
